Nov. 28/07: The New album is out! It’s called Curl Up And Die and can be found at shows, at Transistor 66 www.transistor66.com and soon, at www.cdbaby.com and Itunes with the rest of the albums.
We’re also taking part in a battle of the bands so come down and holler for/at us at any of the upcoming Stetson/Underground gigs.
June 01/07: Time for another update. Lots of rock shows on the horizon during the summer so keep an eye on the gigs page if you’re interested. We’re also making progress on some new recordings and deciding how we’re going to release them, one full length? 2 EP’s w/comics? Digitally? Sand sculptures? We’re also in the process of getting the back catalog up on itunes for those of you looking for instant CCF gratification/humiliation. The first album (out of print as of last week) is up already and The Fist & Fire In Yer Hole are on the way. We may get an album of rarities up there too when we get a chance. There’s a ton of stuff rattling around in the archives.

Also, here’s a link to some new pictures complements of Kevin Fedirko (www.kevinfedirko.com).

Mar. 21/06: Just a quick update, lots of shows on the horizon, lots of recording going on whenever we get a minute. We’re behind schedule as far as unloading another cd or two but we’re working on it, narrowing everything down to the “good” stuff and making sure it all sounds sufficiently hairy. We have also discovered the perfect formula for Rock & Roll designed to clear the room of all but the deafest & blindest females. It should also be mentioned that we are still taking submissions for our comics section and there have been a bunch of new ones added so take a look.
Sept. 18/06: First of all, thanks to Colonel Colin Sick, aka Private Privates, aka Major Relief for filling in at the Hi Fi Club for a recovering Le Rouge Baron. If you hadn’t heard, Le Rouge Baron was injured during a rehearsal for our Montreal show when a flashpot misfired and delivered 2nd degree burns to the Baron’s taint. You can send cards and ointment to CCF Headquarters care of Captain Fook. Speaking of Montreal (yes, you read that right), the CCF are headed East to play Pop Montreal with a few other locals, The Forbidden Dimension, Pressure Kill Common Style & SIDS. The whole shebang will be a Calgary rock showcase so if you’re out there, come heckle (in French) some bands you won’t get a chance to see very often. Thanks to Shawny & Zak for making this whole thing happen.
We’re also cooking up some new music which we’ll be recording soon. If everything goes according to plan you can expect a couple new E.P.s & comics this winter.
July 07/06: After the ultimate attempt at recycling the CCF managed to clone Mad Dog Diggs to create a drummer. It took a few tries but eventually we ended up with Lucky #7 who managed to outlive numbers 1 thru 6. You may have seen him at the Hi Fi & Stetson gigs. If not, you can check him out in our upcoming rock video complements of Prairie Threat Entertainment, a superfine production company outta Regina who decided to capture us on film. Apparently we still have some kinks to work out in the cloning department as Lucky #7 began ageing at an astonishing rate. As I write this he is approximately 97 years old.
Due to a cornucopia of age related maladies we have had to continue our search for a drummer. The good news is that Le Rouge Baron had managed to chew through his obedience collar to escape the clutches of Asia and is now in the bowels off CCF headquarters reacquainting himself with old & new CCF material. He is eager to bask in the love of the CCF's legion of lady-fans and will be seeing you soon at our upcoming shows.
